#;; April 10, 2007 was the day a group of Linux fans in Isfahan were gathered to form a Linux Users Group. They had been in touch on Technotux Forum.

This first session was placed at one of these guy's office where they name this lug IsfahanLUG and the IsfahanLUG.org was chosen as its Formal domain name. And Here we are in Isfahan an ancient city and center of Isfahan Province. Isfahan is one of the most beautiful and famous cities of the world. We are spreading the soul of Free and Open Source Softwares culture. The culture of being free and acting open. Although we are named as LUG, our areas of interests include all aspects of FOSS. #;;
